violet and green? i don't think so...

i was reading some fashion magazine, i don't remember the name exactly, and came across this strange trend.
it mixes different shades of violet with deep emerald.
like this:

look at the beginning. the colors are, i think, from jewels but... for me it just doesn't fit. that was gucci mfw s/s 2011. but outfits like this are in prada collection as well:

for me... no!

but there are other opinions. for example mint taste, the photographer, really appreciates this trend. 


after thinking it over, this is nice for bit older women.
but young fashionistas shouldn't dress like that, they look very old.
