treat tonight

good evening, ladies and gentlemen!

let's get cracking, shall we?
sock choice:
we went to the v&a, finally!
i was so excited about it not only because it is like my favourite museum of all time int he whole wide world, but there is a new thing there!
the thing is the new fashion collection :) the collection and the way it is all done is just brilliant so if you have a chance please go there and see it yourself.

the other thing... there is an extra exhibition celebrating the re-opening of the gallery. and it is the most fantastic thing ever. ballgowns. british creations for special occasions. mcqueen, mccartney, westwood just to name few. there is even a dress designed especially for this exhibition. absolutely magical!

that was yesterday. this post was about to go online when i found out that i lost my ipod. than i remembered that it was in the v&a. so again though the tube and back in the museum hall.
fortunately, the ipod was returned by some very nice human being (and if by any chance you are reading this, i'm forever grateful). when i was coming back through the main door, i saw this:
pretty cool, huh?

today was covent garden and notting hill. socks:
for now, about this, i have just one thing. just go there! now, pick up your shoes and go go go!
sidenote: maggie, we are going there, you have no choice.

more on that later.

good night, ladies and gentleman. hope you enjoyed the show and have a safe journey home.

love you,

xoxo

hedgehogs and seals

hola,
first of all. that's why you're here, isn't it?
and yes, they are hedgehogs and seals. problem? :)
sorry, i should have posted this yesterday but we had major problems with the camera. the filter broke and we had to get it fixed. i was terrified that the lens was broken but i turns out it's alright. thank god, if we were left without the camera i would be very upset, lightly speaking.
anyway. here are the pictures.

as for the news, lots of things happened. this saturday we visited bath, one of my favourite destinations. we've seen the new exhibition in the fashion museum there, and it was absolutely great. if you're around, you really should see it.
it's for the olympics, and it was sportswear and things inspired by it. i found out so many interesting things through the audio guide, i had no clue about them. there was even the 'sleeping-bag' coat from stella mccartney. i really like it.

later, when i come back, i'll try posting some photos.

on sunday we went to the spitalfields market. one of the most wonderful places! go there! so many handcrafted things and so many nice people. i got some photos for my personal project inspirations, it will be great. later i'll show you in an ootd the things i bought there.

speaking of ootd, today i was so proud of my look (even the lady in the shop said that i looked very nice, and she liked the colours) that i decided to make this:
this time the text is on the photos. do you prefer it that way? please, let me know.

that's it i guess. tomorrow - national gallery.

love you,

xoxo

in tate modern i've found the greatest book in fashion-book history. brilliant. and a special magma sketchbook for fashion design. i'm in heaven. i just hope that it'll all fit into my suitcase :P

tomorrow we're going to bath. there is a fashion museum there which has a new exhibition about sport so i'm really excited.

as to the title - did you know that there is such a house in london as a random house? i've seen it today by an accident and laughed. i'll my house like that :)

that's it for now, i guess.

jinkies

i just have another diy for you. i know it should be fashion related but i don't really care. :)
here is what you are going to need:
plus some thick paper to cut a...
then you just grab some...
and cut the triangles. i've cut a lot more than i needed but used them for a next one. better too many than not enough, eh?
after you cut them, just stick them in your own order onto the ribbon.
next you just need to fold it and it...
leave it overnight and there you have it.
finished and dried thing:
finial step is to stick it wherever you want.
pretty cool, huh?
for me it just adds a lot more colour and funkiness to my room. and it's always nice to look at something you made yourself.
even though it's very simple, it's a lot of fun. you can make it in different colours with your friends.

i think i'll even use something like that to make 'happy birthday' flags in september :)

in other news:
i finished my secret project, and as i probably forgot to mention earlier the effects will be here all september, well at least till my birthday.

next week i'll be in london, yey!

there is another post in writing, look forward.

love you,

xoxo
